Test Results

Blood Samples & Urine Specimens

Blood samples are taken between 8.00am—12.00 midday at which time they are collected by hospital transport.

Other specimens, clearly labelled with full name and date of birth, should be placed in the container outside the Nurses’ office before 12.00 noon (there is no need to alert a staff member as long as the specimen is with the form for identification and carefully sealed).

Microbiology & Blood Tests

The Doctors' recommendations regarding your results are available by contacting reception staff between 3pm and 5pm.

If you have a test of any kind and you need treatment or an appointment, the Doctor, Nurse or a member of the practice administration team will contact you to make appropriate arrangements.
